Cucumber & Jalapeño Spritz
A refreshing, herbal spritz with bold spiced and floral notes - crisp and complex. A perfect summer aperitif.

35ml Aquavit
30ml Cucumber & Jalapeño cordial
5ml Raw Honey
Prosecco to top
Soda
M E T H O D
In a wine glass, add the aquavit, syrup and honey with ice, stir to incorporate, top with more ice, prosecco and a splash of soda. Garnish with a cucumber ribbon and a fresh Jalapeño pepper. Sip & enjoy!
To make the (fresh) Cucumber-jalapeno cordial:
Make a strong sugar syrup by adding 500g caster sugar to 250ml water in a saucepan and gently simmering until all sugar is dissolved. Put to one side to cool.
In a blender or food processor add 1 chopped cucumber, 3 whole jalapeno’s (more if you like it hot), the sugar syrup and a handful of ice cubes. Coarsely blend for a few seconds until the ice is fully incorporated. Pass the liquid and the pulp through a fine mesh sieve or muslin cloth. Cordial will keep fresh in the fridge for up to two weeks, in a sterilised bottle.
